Format

For audio uploaded into ART19, we prefer uncompressed audio files—these produce the highest quality sound.

We accept either:

  • Uncompressed WAV or AIF file

    • for WAV files, preference is 2-channel; 16-bit little-endian; 44,100 Hz sample rate

  • FLAC, ALAC (Apple lossless), 256 Kbps AAC, or MP3

Tag requirements

All files are transcoded to MP3 128Kbps CBR / 2-channel (stereo)
